 MKVCleaver restarts itself whenever I try to do anything

Description

Whenever I try to load an mkv file, any mkv file, the MKVCleaver window closes and then reappears again. When I try to load an mkv file, it happens again. Cannot get anything done.

Working with MKVToolNix version 12, correctly located. On Windows 10. Have tried re-installing.
