Description

It will no longer allow me to drag and drop MKV files into the program job window. I can only add files through the "Open MKV files to process…" menu.

    I cannot reproduce this.

Do you have security software installed that uses sandboxing ? Like Comodo or Avast.

Please provide more information about your system and how you’re using MKVCleaver.

    I would like to know:

Which OS version (32 or 64 bit)
Which MKVCleaver version (32 or 64 bit)
    Where is MKVCleaver installed
What security software you have running
    Do you have UAC enabled
Is MKVCleaver running as Admin or not
Does MKVCLeaver display any errors or unusual behavior

I’m sorry I didn’t address this sooner Ilia, the emails got sent to spam

    I’m running a desktop machine (i7 4790 \ 32GB RAM \ ASUS board – high end rig)
I’m running Win 10 64 bit v1607 (build 14393.693) but this problem has persisted through all builds \ installs of my Win 10 64 bit. I’ve used MKVCleaver for years, including previously on Win 7 64 bit all builds, without a problem. I never correlated the problem to the upgrade to Win 10 but now that I think about it, that could be about the timeframe of when the problem started.
I’ve currently got MKVCleaver 64bit v 0.6.0.8 installed – I’ve been running MKV Extract (without problem), but I just checked and the problem still exists in MKVCleaver when I try it.
    It’s installed to default – C:\Program Files\MKVCleaver
I’m running Avast v 12.3.2280 (build 12.3.3154.23) – but the problem has been there for all updates to Avast. Avast has a sandbox option, but it warns when it is sandboxing and it’s never sandboxed MKVCleaver or any of my other de\muxing tools.
I run adwcleaner standalone -instances only
I have CCleaner installed – but not actively system monitoring – run on instance only
I run SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition – but not actively system monitoring – run on instance only
    UAC is enabled
MKVCleaver is not run as admin – so no UAC warning
MKVCleaver does not display errors and runs perfectly fine if I use the “Open MKV files to process …” menu. It also runs batch fine with multiple files opened through that menu
