Description

I can no longer drop a video file onto the MKVCleaver Processing files window. Also, the program needs to run in Admin-mode to operate, where is an installer for the new version

D&D doesn’t work when an app is run with Admin rights (Windows restriction). Please run MKVCleaver with regular user privileges.

MKVCleaver needs to be placed in a directory where Users group has write and delete permissions. It needs to be able to extract and modify files. Do not place MKVCleaver portable version in Program Files. You can run it form Documents directory or just create a new folder, something like C:\Apps\MKVCleaver and place the executable there. Then make sure to give Users group Modify permissions to that folder.

All installers are now deprecated in favour of portable versions. It just takes too much time to code installers and they are not really needed.

Thanks, I gave that a try, just after posting my message here, and that did solve the issue.
