Yes, false positive. You can delete it if you want. However, best course of action is to submit it as false positive and add it to exceptions list for you AV.

Also, not a bug. Please use the contact form, email me or post in the comments section for these types of issues.

    Thx.

I know it’s not (your) bug. 🙂 Thanks for the reply but how about you take action for this one? Bitdefender insisted on NOT to download/run the MSI version. (Windows TOO) I’ve been using your software with no problems at all (Thanks by the way) until the (0.800) upgrade. Regards…

I did take action. I submitted a bunch of false positives to the AV makers. The rest is out of my hands.

None of the AVs I use detect it as malware any longer. I have Windows Defender, Avast, ClamAV (this one is hit and miss), MalwareBytes and then I use Virus Total and Jotti.

Most likely, you need to update your AV software and definitions. Or get a different one. I recommend MalwareBytes.

After the release of v8, I’ve spent just as much, if not more, time dealing with the false positives than developing the latest version. This is now on the border of being ridiculous.
